SkyView Partners Management
How SkyView Partners, Inc was Named
SkyView Partners was founded by John Vanderwall and Carol Woodbury. The name "SkyView" came about on a clear day in Seattle, which was unusual, given that it was February. Seeing the sky reminded John and Carol of God and caused them to realize that they needed to keep their priorities in order as well as lean upon God as their source of strength and wisdom to be able to create and grow a business known for its honesty, integrity and excellence. John and Carol humbly give thanks to God for the success and growth of SkyView Partners.
Founder, Chairman of the Board and CEO
Prior to forming SkyView Partners, Inc with Carol Woodbury to focus on developing a Security Practice, John spent two and a half years as an original founder of the software division of an AS/400 security software firm and served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing. During his tenure, software sales more than doubled each year. Before to that, John Vanderwall was founder and President of ClearView Marketing Services, LLC. ClearView specialized in contract sales representation for software firms and technology marketing consulting. During his tenure, ClearView completed contracts with IIR Publishing (Midrange Computing), Microsoft, IMAS and Wall Data. Prior to ClearView, John spent eight years with WRQ as Product Manager and Market Development Manager for WRQ's IBM product line. John spearheaded WRQ's move into the IBM emulation market, authoring a business plan for creating a division focused on PC to IBM host connectivity. After approval of the business plan by WRQ management, John served as product manager for WRQ's new IBM product line and helped oversee development and marketing of IBM mainframe and AS/400 connectivity tools. Today, the IBM products remain a key component of WRQ's product offerings.
